A photograph of Battleship Row, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Dec. 7, 1941, shortly after the departure of last Japanese attack wave. Ford Island is on the right, behind the battleships. The USS Arizona is nearest the camera. She has already sunk and is in flames due to her forward magazine taking a direct hit from an aerial bomb. This resulted in an immense loss of life among her crew. Up Battleship Row from the stricken Arizona are the USS Tennessee, followed by the USS West Virginia.
