The insignia worn on the uniforms of AAF servicemen make for a colorful and interesting display. Each Army Air Force has an interesting history, with the 8^th AAF probably the most well-known. Among the others, the 12^th served in North Africa and the Mediterranean, the 15^th in the Mediterranean, the 5^th and the 13^th in the Pacific Theater. The Army Air Force Shadowbox measures 7 ½" x 9 ½", and features an authentic reproduction shoulder patch, crewman wings, and lapel insignia. The items are mounted on a dark-blue suede board. An olive drab top mat marks the face of the shadow display.

When placing your order, please contact us with your preference of patch and wings if you would like ones that are different from the sample shown above. Available patches include the 1^st AAF thru the 15^th AAF, 18^th AAF, 20^th AAF, Far East AAF, and the standard Army AAF design.
